Wedge prisms are used as beam control elements in optical systems. By combining two wedges of equal power in close contact and rotating them independently, light can be directed to any direction within a narrow cone.
Wedge prisms are mainly used for beam control deviation in the field of optics. The tilt angle of the wedge prism is relatively small, which causes the optical path to deviate to the thicker side. If only one wedge prism is used, the incident light path can be deviated by a certain angle. When two wedge prisms are combined together, they can be used as deformable prisms, mainly used to correct laser beams.
Our custom wedge prisms are made of UV-visible and near-infrared materials, suitable for most scientific instrument applications.
